Worship

Listen to the latest Sermon - Updated August 29, 2010.

Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 a.m.

Drayton Avenue holds a single worship service every Sunday morning. The service typically includes singing hymns led by the minister of music playing our pipe organ. If you are familiar with the Roman Catholic Mass you will see some similarities in style, and also a number of substantive differences. To learn more, please have a look at a worship bulletin from a recent service. You should also check out this handout, which explains why we do certain things during worship.
On Sunday morning, visitors can expect to be personally greeted by a mix of people, young and old, gay and straight, single, married and divorced persons, new parents and established families. A staffed playroom is available during worship for children ages 0 - 3. A cry room is also available to the rear of the Sanctuary that features an audio feed; allowing you to listen and participate in worship while caring for your children. Children in grades K – 4 are invited to attend church school. The building also includes an elevator and restroom facilities that are accessible by those with physical impairments.
